On 13 October 2026, Heyuan Polytechnic (China) and Politeknik Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia) marked a significant milestone in international educational collaboration through the inaugural and signing ceremony of the “Chinese Language + Vocational Skills” Training Center and Lingnan Hakka Artisan Workshop.
This collaboration brings together language education, vocational skills development, and cultural exchange, creating opportunities for students and educators to gain practical knowledge while strengthening connections between China and Malaysia.
A special highlight of the programme was the introduction of Heyuan’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Hakka Cuisine, showcasing traditional culinary techniques and the rich cultural heritage behind Hakka dishes and pastries.
Through this partnership, both institutions aim to strengthen international cooperation, encourage cross-cultural learning, and create meaningful opportunities for skills development.
Connecting education, preserving traditions, and building a future of shared learning!
