On 27 April, a delegation from Dongguan Polytechnic visited Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM) to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the “China–Malaysia Friendship Institute of Electronic Information Engineering Technology.”
This milestone marks a significant step forward in strengthening China–Malaysia collaboration in vocational and technical education. Both institutions share strong alignment in applied education philosophies and a common commitment to developing industry-ready, globally competent talent.
The newly established Institute, supported by the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange (Ministry of Education of China), reflects a forward-looking model of cross-border talent development in Electronic Information Engineering Technology—featuring staged learning pathways across Malaysia and China, and close integration with industry needs.
The visit also included in-depth discussions on future cooperation in curriculum co-development, faculty exchange, applied research, and enterprise engagement, reinforcing a shared vision for internationalization in higher vocational education.
