On 7 August, we held our first meeting with Far Eastern State Agrarian University, Russia, who were represented by Larisa Krokhmal, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Digital Transformation, and Erkin Zakirov, Head of the International Relations Department.

The meeting further solidified plans to establish a Friendship Institute on Agro Technology, a Foreign Language + Skills Training (FLST) initiative, and the facilitation of benchmarking visits later this month.

The next step would be the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and letters of intent. This will be followed by a working visit by representatives of the Far Eastern State Agrarian University to China, a training course, and a return visit by a Chinese delegation to the university.
