On 27 November, the Inaugural Conference of the “Belt and Road” Intelligent Manufacturing Industry–Education Integration Community was successfully held in Guangzhou, organised by Guangdong Engineering Polytechnic.

The event brought together over 100 guests, including regional leaders, experts, scholars, and international representatives. Delegates from Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Indonesia joined the ceremony to witness this important milestone in international cooperation.

During the conference, the Director of the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange (CCIPE) delivered the 2025 Project Work Report, highlighting achievements of the Friendship College initiative in talent development, resource building, and industry–education collaboration. The next phase will emphasise enhancing quality, deepening cultural exchange, optimising regional layout, and strengthening cooperation mechanisms.
